Media Release
A Record-Breaking Event
Premium Bovine Solutions is proud to announce the outstanding success of the Gateway Wagyu Final Dispersal Sale, held at the Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange (TRLX) and streamed nationally via Stocklive.
In what marked the conclusion of one of Australia’s most respected Fullblood Wagyu breeding programs, 100 Fullblood Wagyu bulls were offered unreserved. Each lot was presented with full pedigree listings, comprehensive EBV data, and tested clear of genetic conditions — setting a new benchmark for transparency and breed integrity.
The sale achieved a top price of $28,000 twice, with a sale average of $6,144, and attracted strong national competition. Given the large number of young weaner V-line bulls on offer, this result is an exceptional reflection of market confidence in Gateway genetics.
This sale also marks a milestone in Wagyu marketing history — with 1350 registered animals listed across the full dispersal campaign, this was the largest online registered Wagyu auction ever conducted. Every lot was backed by transparent data and breed registration detail, giving buyers full access to make informed decisions with confidence
