4 Ledarlou Wagyu Bulls – Proven Championship Genetics
Leonard & Darren Henschell | Ledarlou Wagyu
A rare opportunity to secure 4 quality Ledarlou Wagyu bulls from one of Queensland’s most talked-about emerging Wagyu breeding programs.
In 2026, Leonard and Darren Henschell took out the overall Wagyu Championship at the prestigious RNA Paddock to Palate Competition at the Ekka, competing against some of Australia’s leading Wagyu producers, including Hancock Agriculture.
What makes the achievement even more impressive is the scale of the operation. The Henschell family runs a herd of only around 100 Wagyu breeders, yet their pen of seven Fullblood Wagyu were clear overall winners.
Their 2026 results demonstrated performance right across the production chain, including winning the Wagyu weight-gain section, placing third in the carcase section, winning the individual carcase value competition and placing in the taste-off.
The winning pen averaged an impressive:
458.86 kg HSCW | 22.3 mm P8 | 10.6 camera marble score | 36.1% marbling | 139.65 cm² EMA | $7,624 average carcase value
These results provide a powerful commercial demonstration of the genetics behind the Ledarlou program — combining growth, carcase weight, marbling, eating quality and value.
Now, four Ledarlou bulls are being offered for sale, providing buyers with the opportunity to access genetics from a program that has demonstrated its ability to perform where it matters — in the feedlot, on the hook and on the plate.
Proven genetics. Proven performance. Proven champions.
A standout opportunity to add Ledarlou genetics to your Wagyu breeding program.
